We've done the double over Cardiff and Hull ! The two teams that went up automatically , spent more money than us, and we were supposed to be the worst team in premiership history? Boy do I love supporting this club through the mostly downs and ups ,i'd love to finish at the end of the season above both of them and proving lots of people wrong

I'll echo those sentiments too.
We should all be chuffed to buggery.

Yeh, after all the criticism of our purchasing policy and the fact we didn't get a proper run up due to going up through the play offs.

They were both in a much better position to prepare for the Premiership.

I was just looking at who we signed in that infamous summer period. Some good, some bad:

Stephen Dobbie
Dwight Gayle
Jerome Thomas
Jose Campana
Elliot Grandin
Marouane Chamakh
Neil Alexander
Florian Marange
Jason Puncheon
Jimmy Kebe
Jack Hunt
Adrian Mariappa
Barry Bannan
Cameron Jerome

I think I would argue that in the end six came good and for a couple we wait to see. All in all we seemed to muddle through rather well.

It's no lie i am anti holloway - not the person, the manager.

But i can't help to think that he has come out looking so bad in all of this, right or wrong.

I guess people in the game, they know the real deal of what people are like, far better than what the media says, but looking at the bigger picture, when he left 'Pool, a few high profile slatings from some players made me think. Also, the way he wrapped Philips in cotton wool, the way he slated Freedman in an early pre match fan interview, our terrible run at the end of the season, the way he down played rivalries, the players he signed, the 'quitting', now taking Millwall down - when you look at it like that, you can't help but think where will his career go next?

Realistically he should go into TV and be a pundit.

On the other hand, Pulis has come in, handled the job with class, he hasn't made any jokes, or asked for sympathy, tightened a defence of championship players to rival liverpool's and Arsenal.
The signings he did make, only one is having a mixed bag of games.

It's not until you actually compare the two, the way they present themselves does Holloway look a mug.

Can we just let him get on with getting Millwall relegated first though

Their win at Nottm Forest yesterday has given them a lifeline.

Would be lovely to add Villa and West Ham to this list of doubles...
