We may be three points off safety, but once we have them , here come the reasons to deify Tony.
1. Tactical nouse. He has converted a team of headless chickens into the most cohesive squad in the League. Each player knows his role backwards so tactics come naturally.
2. Self-belief. He has transformed a bunch of no-hopers into a team driven by self-confidence. Look at Cham, Punch and Bolasie as examples of players now playing their best football ever. Then look at the other 8 doing the same!
3. Astute signings. He clearly played a significant role in the January window signings, along with Hull's the best in the League.
4. No one-trick pony. Once he had defensive solidity, he has focused on developing the fluent counter-attack down the channels. Good to watch and great for the points.
5. The greatest turn around in PL history.....once the next two points are in the bag.
Let's hope he gets MOTY ......AND stays with us.

The man is a complete professional, best signing we have made in many years.

Rodgers will deserve it more if he wins the title.

Suarez was banned for their first ten games. I think most have forgotten that.

Southampton did the same as us two seasons ago. Lost 9 of their first ten and changed manager.

Pulis deserves every ounce of praise that comes his way but I reckon if Keith Millen hadn't been in charge for those few games and got our confidence back TP would not have got us so many points so quickly.

A joint effort and both should be lauded together.

Yes. Agree with respect to Millen too. But he's not in a position to be considered for Manager of the Year.

Its between him and Brendon Rodgers I think. If Liverpool win the league, then he'll win it. If not its either Pulis or Martinez (who's been fantastic for Everton).

I'd give it to Holloway for transitioning the scum back to league 1.

Talking on MOTD Extra this morning - they said the Mile had said a lot of training ground time is spent going through formations and positional awareness. Making sure as a unit you are a nuisance to break down.

Oh, and the mention of our 12th man

my rankings would be

1. TP
2. Martinez
3. Rodgers
20. Moyes

I think TP's chances really depend on

1) our final league finish
2) whether Liverpools wins the league (which i think they won't)
3) whether Everton makes Champions League (which i think they will)

If we finish 13th or higher, I think TP wins, if not, I think it is more difficult since lots won't vote for a bottom third team.

If that doesn't happen, if Everton make top 4, which based on this afternoon looks more and more likely, I think Martinez get the nod.
