Ipswich fan here. Well done on a great result on Saturday. I really hope you stay up. It must be great to stick two fingers up at the doubters who had written you off as relegation certainties before the season had even started. Really pleased to see Delaney doing well. A lot of Ipswich fans didn’t rate him. I always thought he was a decent centre back at Championship level but must admit I am surprised at just how well he has performed for you. Good on him. Now for the main point of my post...

Jonny Williams. He has been fantastic for us. Apparently he played well when we played Brighton and Yeovil away. He was head and shoulders above every other player on the pitch on Tuesday night when we beat Derby and was excellent again on Saturday against Forest. What do you reckon the chances are of us keeping him on loan until the end of the season? Pullis has said he’ll make a decision today. If we can keep him I am in no doubt that we will make the play offs. If we can’t we will finish mid-table. He really has been that influential. I’ve rarely seen one player make such a difference to a team.

Great young player but its not just his technique and vision, its his attitude.

Jonny has bags of enthusiasm and seems to be really enjoying himself at Ipswich.

if he doesnt have a role to play this season I'd happily see him stay with you until the summer (and hopefully win another promotion at the expense of Brighton)

he reminds me strangely of a Welsh Ossie Ardiles, crunching tackler, all round talented central midfielder.

Glad to see Jonny's doing so well with you and he needs the game time to make progress. I reckon Pulis will extend the loan as I honestly can't see Jonny making too many starts for Palace between now and the end of the season. I like the Tractor Boys, wish you luck and hope Jonny plays a big role for you. You can't have him permanent though!

Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to.

Yeah Pulis will let him stay for the season don't worry he doesn't fit into the style of footy at palace at the moment. He isn't big enough.

Johnny Williams is loved here you are very lucky to have him...only for the season though ...remember that

Why, for the love of god why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think he'll stay with you till the end of the season but maybe with an immediate release clause if we get stuck.

Have a gut feeling that I'm trying to ignore that if we stay up we'll swap him for Cresswell.

We know we're lucky to have him. What's impressed me most is how resilient he is. Derby kicked lumps out of him but he kept getting up for more. If I was Pullis (who watched him Tuesday) that would be my concern. He's going to be targeted as he's the key to everything we do that's creative. At the same time, it's great for his development and will help him become stronger.

He got a really good reception when he was substituted near the end of the game on Saturday. Hoping that that may have made him want to stay until the end of the season. Mind you, he must fancy his chances of getting back into your team before the end of the season. I know you won Saturday but find it hard to believe he won't feature for you if he comes back.

Whatever happens I am going to enjoy watching him progress. This time next year I reckon you'll be struggling to keep him because one the "big clubs" will be waving their chequebooks around.

That's a good thing because at times its been like he has been made of balsa wood with the injuries he has picked up

Glad he is doing so well though - you cant keep him you know

Hes a very exciting player fella, and we all hope he can step up to a) the prem and b) getting more assists and goals at any level.

He seems to be doing that for your lot so it bodes well. I'd imagine Pulis wont play him this season for us, too much of a risk in our relegation battle.

When we played West Ham 2 seasons ago I took a West Ham mate with me and we watched as JW marked Papa Bouba Diop and did not shirk a single challenge even though PBD was about 3 times the size of him.

My mate joined in the standing ovation when he was subbed.

So much potential - if he can fulfil it he can become a great player !

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

I think the best thing for his development would be to stay at Ipswich for the remainder of the year. Should he continue to start every game between no and the end of the season, that'll probably be the most consistent run of appearances he's ever made as a professional. Can only be a good thing.

Not true Sash, got hit by very very bad challenges. I wouldn't say he is injury prone, nobody would have walked away from the challenges.

Welsh? Pah. Doesn't he come from Worcester Park or somewhere like that? That's one of the things I love about him, local lad.
