Nope. contracts are worth diddly nowadays and you know it. Get Jules signed up on a new 2/3 year deal, if we go down, someone will/may come in for him and have to pay more for him. Neither we nor he lose out financially. Same as when Wilf signed his newer,bigger, shinier contract knowing full well he wouldnt be there for another season. Happens all the time and is probablly no more than the papers and journos stirring up a story.

We'll offer him a contract I suspect, because ultimately he's a proven factor in the club. The point is that maybe with Hennessey, we can consider letting him go, and he can leave without issue if a better deal comes his way (and based on his performances this season, I could see a few clubs making him a decent offer.

This will probably be his last real contract opportuntity and I'd imagine he'd want to get the best deal he can.
