In my opinion we don't, and neither do the three teams below us either. We have brought nothing to this league in terms of quality and entertainment, the only thing we will be remembered for is our magnificent support. The whole Prem experience has been one to forget. We have been like a partygoer who hasn't brought a bottle. We are treading water at the moment, TP has made us hard to beat but thats all and we're still losing. I would have enjoyed it more if i was a Cardiff fan, at least they're scoring a few goals. They probably deserve to stay up more than us because of their approach. Is there anyone else who feels the same?

Yes and no, but you have to remember we have had a lot of games gone against us due to the ref's being useless.

We deserve what we get come the final whistle of the final game, much like our promotion last season.

True but you finish where you deserve at the end of the season,
A more worrying statistic I read this morning was we were only awarded 4 free kicks in 95 minutes against Newcastle ,another thing that incompetent pr-ck Probert and his assistant missed was Joel ward half a yard onside when we got in behind them 15 mins into the game.
Anyway still peeved with how we lost but am already looking forward to Chelski

I don't think anybody should be envious of Cardiff's predicament. Their entire club's a joke who sold its soul.

The teams who stay up, are the teams who deserve it.

I can see what your dying and we have, particularly lately, been anti football but I am trying to except it as a must to stay up this season then improve the football next year. One thing is I look forward to games much less than a couple of months ago, no prospect of possession and indeed scoring.....tough to enjoy right now.

The fans however deserve us to stay up as a tribute to their brilliant efforts.

For me it's all about next season.

Pulis has had to work with limited resources, he's identified our defence has an area to focus on, and it has worked, albeit very dull to watch.

I'm very interested to see what sort of signings he'll make next season.

No one deserves to stay up, but I hope Palace do.

Original post was harsh on us. The top teams get the opposition they deserve. It is not the fault of Palace, or indeed the bottom 10 teams, that the league is so skewed in terms of wealth and power. For all the lower half premier league teams the objective is survival at all costs in the hope that further investment comes along and allows them to compete at a higher level and reach Europe. The top teams bleat about the lower teams parking the bus because they want to see their quality players rip us apart.
Well tough.
We were in admin not so long ago and have nothing to apologise for. If you want pretty and entertaining go and watch the women's team.

If we get finish fourth from bottom or better, then yes we deserve to stay up. Otherwise we deserve to go down.

How we are where we are at this moment in time is quite unbelievable. Every single player has metaphorically shed blood for the shirt to get points wherever they can.

We have not been thrashed by any of the money laden super teams with our worst loss being against the side at the foot of the table.

We have a patchwork quilt of a squad, we are bereft of natural goalscorers, we have several players out of their depth yet we compete every single game.

We have beaten most of the teams in the bottom eleven at home and done the double over Hull. We have the chance to do the double over Villa, Cardiff and WHU and revenge our defeat against Fulham.

Of course we deserve to stay up.
