I wish I was an accomplished football tactician but I'm just an enthusiastic amateur. My belief for the Chelsea game would be to try and build a solid mid-field base and try to smother their attacks almost before they get going.May be its a tall order but if it can be done I think it would prove effective. All too often in the past we have let teams run around us in concentric circles in mid-field as they build attacks and we never have had the gumption or the manpower to stop them and I have seen us give away far too many goals as a consequence. For just once let us try and control midfield!.

i look froward to each game, but after yesterdays heart ache, i don't know if i could stomach watching the game..

Whats the situation on recalling Ramage and Hunt in place of KG and Ledley.Wouldnt play McCarthy though as he would poses a threat of putting the ball in the net, even ifs our own.
