Lets go back to the defeat at home to Fulham. We were rock bottom, leaking goals at an increasing rate and unable to compete in games. Many were worried and pundits speculated that we might break Derby County's low points record.
Wind forward to now, We are competing in games, have stopped leaking goals, drew with Swansea away who played us off the park at home, knicked an away point yesterday and are in with a realistic shout of staying up. Tony Pulis has worked miracles to get us here and how fans can complain about his style of play or not picking Bannon (ill yesterday) is surprising and I think I will trust him to do what he thinks best as it seems to be working thus far. Funny most of the moaners are those that are posting on here during games each week. Our defenders yesterday were excellent and I don't see how we can really attack teams too often with the quality we have. Lets be realistic.

One of the only posts on this site with a genuine understanding of football in ages. 90% of them are bollocks. Yes let's remember that Fulham game with the wonderful Gayle and Campana starting. They made a difference then didn't they? Also let's remember those wonderful championship days when we lost 0-4 to Birmingham at home, not even a year ago . Give me a boring 0-0 to Sunderland anytime.

I was gonna write something similar yesterday and then my phone fu$#ed up. But yeah who'd have thought after 10 games and 3 points we'd be where we are now? I remember bring genuinely worried we wouldn't beat derby's total of 11 points and now we're on around 30... what an improvement!!! Now I ain't a fan of our football but if we stay up it'll all be worth it. I can't imagine any other boss taking the players we have (no disrespect to 'em but we haven't got a neymar, rooney or an aguero in our ranks) and giving them a fighting chance of staying up.
Good luck to tp, just hope the plan works.

Good post, it seems like the more intelligent fans see to be the quieter ones on here.

It's one of those things where I'd love to see Gayle get given ago but if Pulis doesn't think he's ready I don't see how we can question him.

The problem with Gayle is that Holloway played him out of position wide and now we actually sometimes play with two strikers he can't get in the team. I would like to see Gayle running beyond Chamakh, but can we afford to start trying things out right now? Maybe next year if we are still around.

It seems as though the holmesdale is full of bored, whingey, spoilt, deluded fans this season who know absolutely nothing about the game of football.

Thank you sir. I've given up Tryna fight this argument on my own but I'm glad that this message board doesn't actually represent the opinion of majority of fans at selhurst on match day.

The expectations of some people on here are spoilt and absolutely ridiculous to say the least and for a man to get us in the position we are right now even if we don't stay up is unbelievable - we've gone right to the end.

And people talking about how his "tactics are poor" just have no clue. It's frustrating but I think the reason the actual sensible fans are quiet now is because there fed up of reading a lot of the complete s*** that people have been coming out with recently.
