The whole England set-up is a joke. Welbeck, Cleverley, Cole, Lampard and Glen Johnson in the squad and they hardly play for their clubs. Mr Ward, thank God u are here with us, but for your England ambitions u have chosen the wrong club. Same goes for Hull's Huddlestone and Curtis Davies IMO.

The last few weeks I don't think he's played quite as well as he can. Was our best player up until Christmas.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I thought everyone knew there was a rule that you couldn't play for England if you were from a 'small' club. You need to be an unused sub for one of the big boys.

I don't know what happened at Southampton, but something's clearly gone awry!

Had a shocker of a game at Arsenal and I thought he could've been a bit more committed to the tackle for Swansea's goal on Sunday.

Great player, but I don't think he's England ready yet.

Great player, but I don't think he's England ready tet.

I happen to believe that the word "Great" is bestowed on players far too easily and I wouldn't describe Ward as such, however I recognise that he has played very well for our team.
I would agree that as yet he is not yet ready for England.

He has half a season of Premiership football to his name, it's very premature to be talking of an England call up IMO. If he continues tk impress over an extended time period, he will be considered.

Funny that most on here are accusing the FA of big club bias, when this thread is probably as biased a viewpoint as you could come across.
