Usually I think it's best to concentrate on your own team and not what's going on around you. However, us and Norwich have nearly an identical next 2 games and I think it's more if we can better their results than actual points taken. We have Southampton at home followed by Sunderland away. Norwich have Stoke at home followed by Southampton away. Of course, 6 points for us would be great but it would mean virtually nothing if Norwich matched us. I'm really hoping for a win at home and a draw away with Norwich drawing and then losing. If we lose to Southampton and Norwich win, we are really up against it. Could the next 2 matches be our biggest yet?

Norwich have a harder run in than ours; probably the hardest of anyone

Agree that it's shaping up to be us or Norwich, but not over the next two games but the remaining 10.West brom have enough about them so do Sunderland.I'm a betting man and will lump on Norwich large to go down.Massive point today for us.

We have a game in hand on them, albeit a tough away fixture against Everton. Today's results have also swung the goal difference in our favour. Looking at their run in if they are in the same position as today then I can see the confidence ebb from them. However we are not there yet and still a long way to go. Good point today after a horrorshow of a 1st half. COYP !!!

Also Sunderland might start to see their league fixtures pile up due to the FA Cup. Fixture lists look a bit blank at the moment, suspect due to TV issues. Infact if they beat Hull at the weekend another fixture might have to be reaaranged for them. Presently their game in hand is against Man C away, so wouldn't expect them to get anything from it. Next scheduled game against us could potentially see us 9 points clear of them if we win next 2 games, albeit with 2 games in hand against Man C and Hull.

So you"re saying getting 1 point to their 0 points (one possible outcome that betters norwich's) in the next 2 matches is better than if we both pick up 6 points each. It's not just us and Norwich it's us and 10 other teams and I'd much prefer picking up 6 points so we keep it to a 11 team fight. Anyway I think Norwich are one of the better relegation sides as proved against Palace and holding man City to a draw. Edited by RaBsash (02 Mar 2014 9.19pm)

What about Pepe Mel's lack of English and WBA's lack of defence?
