Will it ever happen and, if so, how long will it be before we are able to watch our games, all of them at home? Or at least in a local cinema if your team are away? Apart from the usual morons ripping up the seats and empty stadia, whats the problems?

Every game is live on the computer via dodgy streams from places like Trans-dneister, Sikkim or Nagaland. Commentary is fab too.

The day will come when the PL / CL et al will simply be pay per view - no spectators in grounds just sport as a TV show

Well I was refering to this being done legally, or at least above board. With the cost of putting on matches (policing, ticketing, stewarding, countless others) and clubs getting almost all their money from tv, sponsorship etc, so gates are not an issue, this course seems to becoming more feasible. Of course it would be Pay-per-view, but even that, because of the convenience, makes it a good proposition to the average fan. Say, make the cost as for two/three tickets, that would do it. The only losers may be the travel companies and hotels. But, hey ho, I'd make the occasional trip for old times sake, a good outing for me and me mates and the kids. CAN'T WAIT

My dad went out last week and bought this amazing "BOX" about the size of a cigarette packet, plugged it into the TV and bingo, matches from the premier league all popped up and amazingly ALL the channels on sky TV platform and all live TV worldwide.. ESP U.S TV. So im happy I can watch palace every week without dodgy streams.

I think a certain TV company already pays more than the take from the gate. The only ones who would lose out to this idea are 'live' viewers, as in 'in the flesh, sun, rain or snow', turning up for the atmosphere. I dearly hope it never happens.

I don't see why it would be a problem really. I like the idea. NFL do it as do NBA and MLB and they still have full stadiums....
