Anyone got the transcripts of what Pucheon said to Warnock?

It was libellous and he's withdrawn it.

I'd potentially be getting this website into a bit of legal bother if I repeated it, so I suggest you just get a bit creative with your googling. Throw in the word 'bonus' as a keyword.

The thing that gets me is that they wait so long to charge him. Is there any possibility he might miss a game? If so, sods law says having played Chelsea, United, City and so on recently he'll be suspended for a crucial game!

Yeah, found it all here: [Link]

But why are you afraid of repeating what someone else has said? What sort of country are we living in? North Koea?

I wouldn't think personal spats would get a suspension order. It's more a civil offence I think.

For a start because the person who said it has subsequently claimed it isn't true! You can't just go round accusing people of crimes in public willy nilly. It might offend your beliefs about freedom of speech when you end up in court, but the reality is that the legal system insists you can't slander another person.

He said some very naughty things and is quite rightly being punished for it.

Twitter is not good for venting your frustrations, especially accusations hinting at corruption. Silly lad.

Repeating a libel is viewed in the same way as the libel itself.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Indeed. The truth is an absolute defence.

Surely only if someone repeats it with the intention of showing they believe the same...If you're simply reporting what someone else has said I can't see that as being libelous, it's a statement of fact, the truth.

Don't repeat what you hear. It can go quite wrong
