Travelled down with a load of t***ty mancs on the train, one of who was hiding a Cantona mask under his top. It's to my eternal regret that I didn't call him on it.

However, while I couldn't hear what they were singing due to our noise, (which was immense, especially 'pride of South London' fvcking loud for the first 5 mins) their support was easily the best at Selhurst this season. They went quiet for periods, most bizarrely after it was 2-0, but pretty much every other set of fans has wilted against our singing, but they didn't. Even kept going through some of our sustained and loudest chants and for that they have my respect.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

During the minute's applause for Tom Finney, were the Man United fans singing? I could hear something but couldn't make out what. I heard the boos at the end of it and reckoned what they sang wasn't in praise of Tom Finney.

Best away fans this season without doubt. Although I couldn't hear them from the Holmesdale, they looked like where chanting! They've always been loud on the TV when I've seen them

I couldn't hear what they were singing, but, you are right, yes they were singing, or some of them were - jerks.

They were singing Cantona songs during the applause.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

I felt they only raised their game because they knew about our support.

I bet they are not like that at other away games.

man u fans were loud... i was stood next to them in block u of the arthur but they sang through the game and didnt stop. Even when we sang 'can u hear united sing?' theyd been singing before and carried on after. Fair play to them they were the best fans at selhurst ive heard, only newcastle were about as good as they were.

Pretty much agree. They were scummy arrogant t***s, but they did make a fair bit of noise.

Couldn't really hear them from our seats, only when they scored and that didn't last long before they were drowned out, oh and when they were singing Utd songs during the minutes applause for Sir Tom Finney, very classy ...
