not that one but the one we should of had in the 1st half

Watching on Tv in Calgary but wanted to see what people thought who were at selhurst. Looked like Cham headed it then mata kicked him in the chest. No reference to it from the very very pro manure canadian tv channel.

Not a pen for me, Chamakh dipped into the ball as much as anything.

I6t's what to expect. If Utd had lost it would have been how poorly they played, nothing about the effort of the other team involved. According to my grandchildren there are only 56 teams in the Prem.

British commo, Lee Dixon (ex-Arse) thought it was a pen and made a point of saying so.
Perhaps our players showed too much respect for the oppo by not making a big thing of it ????

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Think Vidic all over Jedi at every set piece was more worrying.......and the Ref warned him about it,and still gave nothing.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

IMO Chamakh played really well. Oozed class and battled for everything - shame his enthusiasm got the better of him. It was just one of those things - and nothing Jules could have done to save RVP's spot-kick

Yep, Jedi was 'marking' their keeper at corners, a tactic often used against us but something we ourselves dont normally do. Vidic was trying to stop Jedi standing in front of their keeper. Jedi did this really well. The ref couldn't give anything against Vidic as you cannot give a pen wnen the ball isn't in play. the pushing and shoving was happpening before the corner was taken.

OK u can not award a penalty when the ball is not played, but what about a yellow and then a red card? This wrestling on corners has got to stop or else it ruins the game (together with shirtpulling and diving).

Probably should have been a penalty, outside the box the referee gives that as a foul. It doesn't matter that Chamakh leant into it, he got the ball and the contact was after that.
