Not sure if there is another post on this subject. But I have supported Palace now for 51 years and I can not for the life of me remember such a fantastic crowd reaction to a player returning from a long term injury as I witnessed Saturday. As TP says hes got goals all over him . Welcome back Glen.

Was an amazing roar and you're right it sent shivers down my spine as well, Loud cheers when John Salako came back from his knee injury and Ian Wright broken leg

I was looking for a thread on this to latch on to and spent some time combing for something. Didn't find anything so I will also add my apology if the theme of the thread already exists. I have to agree, even thinking back to the game whilst sat at work today the hairs on the back of my neck are standing on end. I was sad MotD didn't cover it. I found one YouTube video posted by an HF member but it didn't really capture the atmosphere when a) his name was announced b) he warmed up and c) he came on. I would genuinely put Murray's reception on Saturday in my top 10 all time Palace memories. And it was deserved. By the way, we got to the game later than usual (about 10-15 mins before kick off). Does anyone know whether the reading of the team sheet about 3 minutes before kick off was the only announcement of it? If so, it was a nice touch, keeping it under wraps (despite the rumours) to the last minute.

It was actually as much as I have to swallow my bride a moment were I felt like shedding a tear a truly emotional moment my love for this man knows no limits, him and Speroni. I was a b****** on the gay thread so I cant wait for the comments from others.
