He pulled off 2 or 3 very good saves, I wouldn't say any were wonder saves, they were saves a good quality Premier Keeper would be expected to make.

Wonder saves are the ones Al-Habsi(Wigan) pulled off against us in the cup, or Harts triple save at the Etihad.

Thought the save from Sinclair was absolutely top quality, although think he might have been a bit disappointed being beaten at the near post for the goal.

A lot of good saves and one wonder save I think. The close range shot which he got down low for you wouldn't have expected most keepers to save. If you watch it in real time from behind the goal you see just how much of a wonder save it was. It didn't look spectacular but it was as difficult a save as I have seen him make. The others were good but, as you say, you'd have expected a good quality keeper to save them.

Again he demonstrates his reliability and he continues to perform like he will have to be up there for player of the season.

Thanks Stuk!
Very proud that we have 2 players on the BBC team.
Most important fact:
Since Ian H. Left (and thank you for last year Ian!!!) we are top 5 or about.
Jules: He has been amazing since the play-offs (clean sheets on every match and even at Wembley) and that save last Saturday should be enough to be called into the Argies national team. To me he has 4 or 5 years (if injury free) left as Van Der Sar for United.
Ince: We needed goals and his debut couldn't be better.
Chamakh: Could be his partner
Murray: I gave a good vibe that he will find the net soon.

Now, move on and get some points from Everton and United.

Jpegnall: Agree! Perfectly described.

That save kept us in the game and it reminds me the 1 vs. Watford at Wembley in the 85' . First class!
Since the playoffs and Wembley (clean sheets by the way) he has been amazing for us.
We still have a thought schedule ahead of us and I wish him well.
We need to score more by the way. And I'm optimistic that Murray, Ince and Chamakh will get us there.
