I'd like Murray or Gayle playing ahead of Chamakh.

Dann and Delaney for me, unless it turns out Dann is complete s***e.

Stick to Chamakh on his own, with Puncheon in behind, Dann and Delaney

I don't think Paddy's gonna get a look in. For me it would be a back four of Ward, Dann, Gabbidon and Parr then Jedi and Ledley, then Ince, Puncheon and Bannon with Chamakh up front. Murray would replace Chamakh when he is fit enough to start.

Strikers: Chamak and Murray

Backs: Gabbidon and Delaney.

Dann will have to wait for his opportunity i'm afraid. These two have been trojans this season.

Cannot see Dann walking in to a defence that has been so together for the last two to three months. An excellent back up should one of DD or DG lose form completely or get an injury though.

Murray I expect to be eased back with a few cameo fifteen to twenty minute appearances over the next few games.

Gayle will not start and may not even keep his place on the bench as/when Murray is back.

Chamakh should lead the line if we get the midfield right. Guerdiora and Ledley alongside Jedi with Ince and Puncheon out wide. This will mean we have players supporting Chammy and getting on to his flicks and knock downs.

When Murray is fully fit then I would simply put him up front, drop Chammy back to his present position and leave out Guerdiora.

The thing that I an excited (hopeful) about is the goal threat and increased attacking awareness created by the arrival of Ince and Ledley.

Chamakh should never lead the line. Clearly he's better playing off the main striker. Whether that my Gayle, Jerome or Murray is up for debate....but let's keep playing to Chamakh's strengths aye.

Ince seems a definite start, maybe replacing Bolassie?

Chamakh does not play on his own up front; Jerome does with MC playing off of him, which seems to be MC's best position. The question is, who should play on their own up front or do we play a front two. Murray won't be playing 90 minutes this month so expect TP to continue with Jerome and a 4-4-1-1 at least until Murray is fully fit and has been assessed.

Obviously won't happen with the style we play, but a frontline of Murray & Gayle i could see being really rather decent.

Defence unchanged

Ledley for KG

Ince for Yannick

Murray for Jerome.

Sorry, I know you only asked about CB and attack, but I got carried away.

100% agree on both fronts.

To drop either of the CBs would be akin to treason.
