Just great! The man has a knack, and if he's fit we should see more of it soon. Thanks for posting.

He's completely untried and untested in the PL and is returning from a long spell out so let's not let expectations run away with us too much shall we?

Understand what you're saying. And you're right, he IS untested and HAS been out for a while. But let's also try equally hard not to forget it was his goals that got us here in the first place

I know that beer man that's why I'm being realistic and only expecting him to score 10 goals for us..... and 10 more in March!!! Ollie's can't wait for FFS to be back Dad,Ash.

I prefer realism to stupid optimism. How many starts do you think Murrey will make in the remainder of this season? If he's in the starting 11 from the beginning of March, which seems possible, there will be 11 games left; with the best will in the world he won't score in every game. If he scores every other match, which would put him amonst the best in the PL, he'll contribute five or six. Let's see how he does from the bench first before putting too much responsibility on the man.

This is football - realism left the stadium a hundred years ago.

Murray is a striker and if he is declared fit we will all be expecting goals from him. It is not blind optimism, it is not heaping pressure on him it is simply expecting him to do his job, a job he is more than capable of doing.

He has not played at this level before but I do not see that as an issue here. His positional sense and ability to make a half chance in to a goal works at all levels of the game. These are the attributes that make him a far, far better striker than, say, Cameron Jerome.

I expect five goals or so from him this season and, if we stay up, can see him netting fifteen to twenty next year.

Muzza will score in any league . The video literally shows none of his goals are spectacular. Murray in the box and the ball will just fall to him and score. That's the type of player he is. He has something you can't teach a player. Predatory inbox.

Certainly shows what we been missing this season.
Given fitness, and good service, sure he will score regularly in the PL,

Agree with BM's second post 'Let's not put too much responsibility on the man'. However, whilst Muzza is completely untried and untested in the PL - so was somebody who Simon Jordan should of bought at the time instead of Shefki Kuqi ...and that was Rickie Lambert.

Muzza & Lambert are similar Goalscorers & (of course hypothetically) If Glenn Murray didn't get injured (in the PlayOffs against the scum) he'd be talked about in the same light as Lambert first was.

Cannot wait to see Glenn Murray back!
