Well, last time I posted was just before Tones appointment. Came on here with a lovely reception from many on here, credit to you. I thought he would do well, but didnt expect how well.
He seems to of learnt from his time in Stoke. As expected, you are playing through the wings, well organised, and has galvanised the team spirit. I always thought his away approach would be his failing. However, I watched you play Tottenham, nestling a beer in Vietnam, and couldn't help but be impressed by how well you played in that first half. If it wasnt for the numerous chances you had, and of course that missed penalty, you would of easily won that game.
Of course the three points against us, were very fortunate, snatch and grab and all that. Bad day for football.Robbed, cheated and thoughly undeserved. Only joking.
I had very mixed emotions after the match, and wasnt surprised by the result.
So, Joe Ledley?. Pulis has always had a huge hard on for him. He put a 5.5 million pound bid for him the year we went up. He chose Celtic, and the rest is history. Good player, good on the ball, and works hard. Strange signing with the goal keeper. Alot of money for a player on the bench?
Anyway, good luck tomorrow. I expect you stay up, regardless of the result. You remain my second team, and look forward to our revenge tie next season.

Really nice post, many thanks. Well done yourselves incidentally, beating Manure is a brilliant result. I must admit I really didn't realise what a superb manager Pulis is, nothing seems to faze him, and getting out of the relegation zone is a really good feeling - let's hope we stay out...andStoke too!

Really nice to have you back mate. Had some brilliant away fans on here recently but you've got to like Stoke. Proper club and proper supporters. But why are we your second club? Is it Tone, the noisy fans or the cool South London location?

Well jealous about the Vietnamese beer.

I reckon Hennessey is because Speroni isn't dominant enough in the area. We all know Tone likes strong physical players.

Must admit I had/have a bit of a soft spot for Stoke (until Hughes arrived, at least) - a bit like us: the pundits and the press will always find a reason to criticise them, be very reluctant to praise, so I was always happy they stayed up and shoved it right up 'em!

Yesterday's results were awful for us : Stoke result was very much a double edged sword - Man U losing again is always funny, particularly against a "small team", but could have done without a team in our vicinity getting three points (and then Sunderland, Cardiff, and West Ham doing the same!)

I'm reading Harry Redknapps book at the moment. When Harry was at Bournemouth he signed Tony Pulis from Newport and he can't praise him enough. Seems he was hard as nails and made Ron Harris look like a choir boy, kick everybody up in the air, total commitment and a fitness freak, perfect pro trained hard and did all that was asked of him. Looks like he expects the same from his players, without perhaps these days putting the centre forward in row z!
