On the basis that our offensive play is likely to be limited I agree that Parr would strengthen the team as he is clearly better defensively than Dean Moxey - That said he has put in some decent performances but Parr is a safer option I believe him to be fit

I remember two obvious mistakes from Moxey, one for concentration, passing to a Hull player when they were two yards away, and awful positioning from a Hull throw what put them in metres of space going into our box. Both of these lapses nearly and probably should of caused us to concede. Parr doesn't often make such mistakes, if Parr is fit he has to be number one.

i will never forget the absolute belter of a game Parr had at old trafford in the cup. He has quality in abundance, so long as the legs are still healthy.

Agree with this, Whilst Moxey gives his all, He gets caught out of position far too often. Some games he is superb other games quite average. With Parr you know what you are going to get and is better than Moxey.
