Worrying results at the early kickoffs today.

Sunderland currently 2-0 up AT Newcastle.

West Ham 2-0 vs Swansea.

As stands, we will slip to 15th; Sunderland up to 12th. It seems that Poyet has got them playing extremely well and at this rate they'll have nothing to do with the relegation league.

Sunderland are gathering a little bit of momentum now, it's a little scary. But we could get a tough match in March.

We are currently one point off the zone, things change so quickly, one minute was 4pts clear

Was going to mention this. It's typical for Palace. Just when you think you'll get a restbite after a good result, the teams you want to lose win.

With Andy Carroll providing two goals for Nolan, West Ham are currently beating Swansea at home. Half time.

Sunderland stormed into a two goal lead away at Newcastle, a huge result for them as it stands. Currently sitting in 12th place.

Results not good so far; pressure really on Fulham, Stoke and Cardiff now in not to get too far away from the breaking pack.

It makes the games at home to West Brom, Aston Villa and even S'Hampton must wins.

When you look at the table as things stand at 1:45, Stoke and Fulham are in the relegation places. In my opinion, despite the 'Hughes Effect', Stoke will never be playing in the Championship next season.

Sunderland are not a relegation team - we should stop focusing on them - but West Ham are and we should be more worried about the rise in form this win against Swansea COULD trigger.

The problem is there are too many teams in the relegation fight, it means everyone can pick up points fairly quickly depending on what run of games they have so being even 6 points clear of the drop means nothing if you have a nasty run coming up.

I am sure we will go back into the bottom three at some stage this season, but I do think we will end up surviving.

This, it's not what position we are in at the moment it's about gathering points.

Also look at Swansea falling like a stone?

Yeah, could be back in bottom three by tomorrow night. But that follows the cycle of home/away matches. Problems arise when our rivals get unexpected away wins as seems likely with Sunderland today. I agree we need to discount Sunderland - Poyet has got them playing too well. Also West Ham are likely to be the same. Best hopes are Cardiff, Fulham and West Brom.
