if figures are to be believed weve got some amazing deals into the club.

scott dann...£1.5m
joe ledley...800k
wayne hennessey...£1.5m
jason puncheon...£1.75m
tom ince...£1m

just over £6.5m for 5 quality players...who i cant believe 1 single fan will be unhappy with any of those signings!

if anybody knows differently, then please correct me...but thats superb business.

Excellent signings! Scott Dann at 1.5m what a steal, they were touting him at 5m earlier in the window. The one i thought we wouldn't get is Joe Ledley, absolutely chuffed with that.

well reports say 1.5 upfront for dann...but yeah ledley, and for 800k is amazing...in reality 2010 must be laughing with the prices paid and quality brought in!

not sure how many other teams have underpaid for quality in january before.

even a 1m loan fee for ince is great buisness.

From a business point of view compared to Hull spending we win hands down!

From a quality point of view?

1 Very Solid Defender
3 game changing goal scoring midfielders
1 very good keeper to keep Speroni on his toes!

Very very very happy Eagle today!

Very happy with these solid signings. If we can continue to get behind the players and survive this season perhaps Tom Ince will sign for us in the summer. Looking forward to the future. I'm hope all those whinging posters are satisfied now.

Roughly in line with our summer spending; +- £1m average per player. We done good I reckon, I'm a happy bunny

What's really great of course is that when we stay up their value between them - apart from Hennessy - will easily triple overnight.

I thought clubs were supposed to lose money being in The Prem. Typical Palace. Have to be different.

Scott Dann was at Birmingham at the same time as Jerome.Dann was at Coventry when Chris Coleman was manager and Coleman's assistant at the 'Sky Blues' was Steve Kean who signed Dann for Blackburn from Birmingham for £6 Mill.

One of the other pleasing things is that these are all British players with experience of the English game. We haven't gone out and overpaid for expensive imports untried in this league who may or may not succeed but will doubtless take time to settle. Nor have we drafted in a load of last minute panic buys or other team's off casts. All in all seems like a good day at the office.

What was Ledley's transfer fee? Some saying 800k some saying as much as 2.5mill. Would have though 1 mill at most for a player who was a free agent in the summer.
