The Sash Now residing in Epsom - How Posh 29 Jan 14 3.51pm | |

All very exciting yesterday as it was a round of games where there were a few 6 pointers and some deffo defeats for those around us It showed how well you can do out of those types of fixture patterns if you win. The remainder for this week are: Villa v WBA - Draw Please So I would be hopeful no-one creeps too close to us or moves away from us and it keeps the pack nice and tight Before we go for our traditional defeat by Arsenal this weekend (not defeatists but we could have Messi and Ronaldo in the team and still get turned over) its worth noting that even if we do lose the game we might not lose too much ground and give back all the hard work put in to beat Hull and Stoke given the pattern of games. We have a toughie but so do most of those around us: WBA v Liverpool Its hard to see the lower orders getting very much at all out of these games at all so it could very much be 'as you were' table wise As for the other candidates for the drop - They face each other West Ham v Swansea - Draw or Swans for me So even a defeat at Arsenal could see us not moving too much or those around us gaining ground. The following weekend is very much like the one just gone. The bottom sides playing each other and again a win against the Baggies, as was yesterdays game, being pivotal to survival and moe importantly putting the pressure on and heaping more stress on those who dont pick anything up Villa v West Ham - Fancy Villa Of the others Norwich have Man City at home, Fulham go to OT and Stoke go to Southampton - all of which should see teh big boys coming out on top. If it goes along the lines of Mystic Sashes most likely outcomes and If we can beat the Baggies we could see some serious daylight developing on the likes of West Ham, Cardiff and Fulham regardless of how we do at Arsenal this weekend Now I have been going too long to count any chickens and if your aunty had bollocks and all that but I firmly believe its ours to f*** up here...crucial we buy / loan in some goals though Its all very very exciting

Good work and good analysis Sash... Here's to a perfect outcome.. Just we all know Palace do it the hard way.. Fingers crossed we can indeed beat the Baggies.. Feel Sunday could even play into our hands. No Flamini, Ramsey or Wilshire... Tough and strong in the midfield and maybe we can rustle some feathers.. Who knows. If we play like we did at Citeh and Chelski, who indeed knows.. With the 2 home wins the lads can go out and relax a little bit (in the sense that they aren't expected to win) It's in our own hands ultimately.

I think it is..lots of people theorising on points but its more about the pattern of games not who we have to play imho , we will all lose games - its when we lose those egames that matters and the momentum and pressure (or lack / relieving of) that can give...after last night the pressure on OGS and Mulensteen must be huge and Fat Sam could well have had a heart attack by 10pm tonight if WHAM take a pasting...you can already see how timid and fragile West Ham are at home and how those wunnerful East Enders are rallying around their team by booing their every touch and screaming at Allardyce...Its all good
