No goals (yet) this season from Jedi, DD, Bolassie or the other central midfielder (whether that is KG, Guediora or Ward). You would hope to have how many from these 4 positions by now? 8...10? Jedi could have had 3 last night alone.

We are doing well against all the odds and the stats. A remarkable season of achievement so far. Wouldn't worry about it tbh. We create chances. That is the main thing.

Was thinking the same about Puncheon a few weeks ago. Have faith - A goal will come when we're least expecting it

Ward has been denied a few times now, so has Jedinak! KG well, still cant believe that effort he had when it bounced off the back of his head even though it looked like he headed it forward!

You know I was thinking about this the other day, Juventus were unbeaten last season and won the league easily and not one player got more than 14 goals, goals all shared out between them. If they can win the league unbeaten then we can beat the drop without a player getting 10+ goals. Edited by Jordan555x (29 Jan 2014 11.59pm)

If they can win the league unbeaten then we can beat the drop without a player getting 10+ goals. Perhaps, but the problem with grinding out 1-0 wins is that it doesn't leave any margin for error and a minute's lack of concentration could turn our three point win into a single point draw so we do need more goals from somewhere to make life easier. I often wonder if we had managed to snare Tim Cahill whether a few goals from him added to the goal machine that was AJ's tally would have been the difference between survival and relegation
