Shame me and my mates weren't able to make it to The Orwell as planned.It is so easy to get drawn into the seemlingly souless Marquee bar right at the DW rather than embark on a 10min rainy walk insearch of a proper pub.
Incidentally a pint of calling at The Marquee cost 3.40 compared to 3.20 at the ground.We now know to avoid that Marquee marlakey and will definitely either be looking out for The Orwell next time we are in Wigan or go straight into the stadium.Glad you think our fans did good,as so do i.

Not quite up to your standards guys but breakfast and a few beers in the Moon Under Water along with a fair few other surpporters and a walk around town must say found locals really friendly lots stopped us and all wished us well and wants us to stay in PL everyone had heard of fantastic fan base it seems the Eagles are well liked!!

Popped in the Orwell on the way back to The Brocket Arms. We were chatted to all the way back from the local community. Pie, Peas and a fab ale in the Orwell. Many thanks Damien for the hospitality. Great reception from the locals at the Brocket. Really friendly crowd. a real credit to Lancashires finest. Until next time amigos!!!!
