Would we really suffer badly if we didn't sign anyone at all this window ? I mean where does it stop, its a merry go round, I remember reading Alan Sugar's autobiography and him moaning about Managers constantly wanting new players and using the press to get his point across etc.. There is not a never ending queue of players coming off a imaginary convayabelt. Lets say you had a spare £50 million to throw at a club that you just took over, that would soon be stripped off you if you got carried away and listened to YOUR manager (that you signed btw and works for you) then leaves when he gets a better offer and your club spirals downwards leaving you working as litter patrol for Mcdonalds.. Of course we could do with strengthening but my question is with the Teams around us as a comparison if no one came in we could still compete and stay up ? and if your going to say about injuries etc then what about using the other squad members of the '34' ok 25, that we signed last window ? oh wait there not good enough perhaps.. ''Steve we need to talk '' you get the point.
