See Tony Cascarino scored for Millwall, my parents used to know him, saw him a few times at my mum's friends parties.

Also one of my dogs belonged to Mark Fish the South African footballer who used to play for Bolton and Charlton.

The Jeff Hopkins own goal reminds me of the epic own goal by Len Choules who lobbed Vic Rouse from the halfway line when Palace lost 0-2 to Carlisle in Division Four on Mar 21 1959.

I remember it all too well. Anyone else there that day?

Remember it well and always so good to beat our original rivals.

The game had everythinig, goals, tough tackling, goal line clearances and was a great local derby.

My Dad had a £1 bet at 80/1 on a 3-3 draw and was looking set to cash in until Mark Bright smashed in that brilliant winner. My Dads face was a picture of joy as he proceeded to throw his torn up betting slip into the air on the Holmesdale.

Await Nostalgia move.

A stockbroker urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him, at my age, I don't even buy green bananas!
