But no no, this doesn't sit right with the Summer transfer window being an utter shambles. With what we've had to spend and what we have spent, we recruited good players, some injured, and about 4 who'll play no part this season. That isn't bad at all. There will be wastage at this level. The problem was changing things too much and too often when all of the back 4 were brand new. Millen stopped all that and then so did TP, with less pressure to dictate play.

Chamakh was the biggest success of the transfer window, and he's possibly our only truly Premier League quality attacking player.

Guedioura, though, looks like he could be the perfect midfield partner for Jedinak. Plenty of energy, can tackle and can pass, which allows Jedinak to basically clean up in front of the back four. Could certainly become a Prem player, and a midfield duo of him and Jedi does look class

I think that was more due to Chamy preferring to play in the whole rather than up top. Think when Jerome comes back Chamy will be able to drop back and then have quality link up play with Guediora. Really excited to see it!
