I thought he was great yesterday. Positionally he is very good. Notice how he never dives in because he always positions himself so he doesn't have to and often just nicks the ball with harrying rather than lunging in. I m not having a go at moxey as he gives it his all and I like him but he did not have the same positional sense and was often lunging in, just think how many times you saw him last minute lunging to try and block and cross or a pass. How often do you see parr ending up having to do the same? Parr is a much better defender and has really added some stability to our back line

For me, Moxey is better going forward, but Parr's positioning is a lot better.

Totally agree with you, thought he had a very good game yesterday. We look stronger at the back now he is back in the side.Love Moxey's passion but Jonny Parr is a better player.

I'm not sure if we've tried it yet but it'd be interesting to see Parr play at left back and Moxey as the left midfielder. It should make us defensively very solid in the left side and Moxey can cross the ball, likes bombing forward, has a good shot and a long throw.

Yes. They played that in last ten mins of the stoke game.

stops williams or bolasie playing mind. But not bad option for a defensive option when needed.

Its funny how you can watch the same game of football and come to a completely different opinion to someone else. I thought Parr was very poor yesterday and showed he was Championship quality at best.

He put some good challenges in early on but was beaten on numerous occasions. Most disappointingly for me was his lack of confidence on the ball. His passing was particularly poor and when he did get into some more advanced positions where he could cross the ball, he didn't and just played the ball backwards. I found him particularly frustrating yesterday and I would prefer to see Moxey start ahead of him. Saying that, LB is a position that we badly need to strengthen as neither Parr or Moxey are Premier League standard.

What you are highlighting is that he is not good going forward which is fair; moxey offers more in the attacking sense.

However for me parr is by far and away the better defender. He reads the opposition making vital interceptions and never needs to dive in like Mox.

Parr is much better at doing the job a left back is supposed to do. We don't play with attacking fullbacks so it makes sense for parr to be our LB.
