Thought Parsons had a future at the club, So much for bringing the youngsters through, All goes out the window in the Premier League as the stakes are to high to take a gamble.

I agree to a point, the reality is that the majority of our youngsters past and present, whilst good, are not great and a long way from Premier League standard.

If he had been good enough he would have been played. Didnt really get a sniff in the Championship either. Think it speaks volumes that he has gone to a League 2 club. I do wish him luck though, and hopefully we'll get a bit of wedge if he progresses and gets sold on.

22 and never had a run of games in the first team, He'll return at league 1 or championship standard in a few seasons.

Not going to have a chance here, Parr or Moxey won't be prized away and Jerome Williams looks a promising player coming through.

To a certain extent it does go a little out of the window when in The Premiership - there is just no chance to bring the players through unless the players were exceptional. Had we gone up 5 years ago, our Premiership team probably would've been filled with a Clyne, a Zaha, a Moses and a Williams. We still have those kind of players like KaiKai who will breakthrough though. Parsons is good but not good enough to break through into a Premiership team. Jerome Williams is also in the mix at the moment with Parr & Moxey.
