Well I'm reassured.

2010 will have to have thick skins for the next couple of weeks.

They will have to reach for the 'Tin helmets' at the end of the season if they have spent 'Conservatively' and we are relegated. In actual fact probably well before then if it is obvious that we will be plummeting through the relegation trapdoor.
Wonder if Pulis will want to continue ?

I thought the interview was not a little arrogant and condescending. His policy may be sensible (if a matter of opinion) but he came across as a bit of an arse: "“I run the club in the way I think it should be run" (true, but you don't need to say it like that), “Obviously we are probably more pleased to get promoted" (you don't say). And yes, I even know the difference between a trading profit and a tax loss. But I daresay most here will be suitably impressed and disagree with my view.

After Goldberg and Jordan I find that very reassuring. If we get relegated because we haven't spent money we haven't got, then so be it.

We'll come back and try again.

I'd rather support a yo-yo club than have no club to support.

Carry on CPFC 2010, you have my support.

Stay out the way of the Southern thing.

About sums it up for me to be honest.
None of us want to return to the dark days of being skint and struggling but to be reminded of it in virtually every press release Parish gives is beginning to grate a little with me.

He and his fellow investors pick up the tab.....They can say what they like.

And by extension, you support the right of the Hull owner to change the club's name irrespective of what anyone else thinks. Same cause and effect after all.

Don't be a prat. Picking up the tab doesn't make it sensible to say what you like.

I'm slightly baffled as to how you've managed to become offended by what seems to me a fairly innocuous set of quotes that are clearly just direct responses to journalist's questions rather than an attempt to talk down to you.

Furthermore I think he is fully justified in clarifying the financial situation given the amount of speculation amongst the fans about it and the strange sense of transfer window panic that seems to be growing despite it only being January 15th.

People really haven't taken this on board. At least 10 teams in the Championship and possibly 13,or14 if I remember, spent loads more than us last year chasing the Premiership. We pretty much blagged our way in and even as late as the play offs the issues of joining the Premier League weren't all positive.
Off course we could gamble all the money on one season or be sensible and guarrentee a better club for the future.
It's very easy to spend other peoples money but much harder if it's your own. Perhaps we should swap our entire current squad for Roberto Soldado, they are worth about the same.

I'm not at all offended, nor did I say I was. I merely said I thought he came across as a bit of an arse, which I think he does. Doesn't really bother me personally...he can say what he wants.
