I would love to see a clip of the goal he scored against charlton in the mid 90's play offs.

I was sat in the family stand and in my mind he came in from the right and scored a half volley... great player!!

 


This was once a quality forum....

great goal, remember him hands aloft, and everyone jumping over him. Never feel he has much good to say about Palace, considering he played for us.

Met him in Glasgow about 10 years ago after the celtic v Liverpool uefa cup game,we were both staying in the Hilton hotel, his a decent fella but he is slightly bitter about palace because of the way it ended when he was coach under alan smith.
Everytime I brought palace up in the converstion while we were havin a drink he did't want to dwell on it.
Sad really because I loved him as a player for us.

Interesting Aintree, always dismissive about us on Talk Sport and when he commentates on our games, he was a fine player for us.
