Swans fan here.

As someone who feels atmosphere, passion and general enjoyment are every bit as important as what happens on the pitch, I'm very encouraged by your fans in particular The Holmesdale End.

Home games for us have became sterile affairs since we've been swamped with Man Utd, Liverpool and Rugby fans who have bought season tickets just to see Rooney, Gerrard and co. The only noise they make is to tell you to sit down or to try and get you ejected via the stewards. They are spectators not supporters and there is huge difference to me.

We used to have a reputation as passionate and vocal fans down The Vetch but now are approaching something of the opposite. I've vowed never to go to home games until safe-standing is introduced but it seems as though you lot are halfway there!

Good luck for the rest of the season!

I sit in the top of the Arthur Waite stand block W (next to you Swans fans) and I thought we were extremely quiet and always got on our teams back! But the holmesdale fanatics are always great

Thanks. I thought you were the best away fans at Selhurst so far this season.

Good luck to you for the rest of the season especially in Europe.

Agree that they were the best away fans so far at selhurst. However i felt our own atmosphere with the exception of the holmesdale and a small section of the arthur was very flat and sterile at time you could hear a pin drop it was unlike selhurst realky

Thanks. Your lot were one of the best teams I've seen at Selhurst for a long time. We were tripe but you taught us a footballing lesson. I just hope we can aim to become something like your team, although our home support sounds like the one thing we can enjoy bragging rights over.

The bit I've quoted above could've come from our "friends" on the south coast. Just a shame they're not getting to see their hero's Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard etc like they expected
