Uncle Tony's already getting the money together to pay him off - charging a booking fee for the cup game, not putting on the park & ride scheme to save cash & then changing the club charter without consultation when this was queried.

The honeymoon seems over.

I love the fact that each time there is another article about Poyet they mention Palace beating them in the play-off final. Brighton fans must hate this so for this alone I hope this drags on and on.

It's win win for us. Either Brighton will be forced to air their dirty laundry in public and admit why he was sacked or they will need to pay him off leaving them with an even smaller transfer budget after Bloom's gamble didn't pay off. It's the story that just keeps on giving.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I don't know how the process is supposed to work - but the appeal was heard by 3 members of the board, so not entirely independent.

This appeal was only ever going to have one outcome. It seems that what he did isn't in doubt (what that is is still unknown) what Poyet and the LMA are saying is that it shouldn't have been enough to get him the sack.

I can't believe that either the email or the post match comments could be considered a sackable offence.
