Having a mooch on the bandits board and was reading a decent enough thread on the Palace / Brighton rivalry.

Anyone shed some light on who Clive was, I believe he was also affectionately known with a bit of casual racism. Not the first time I ve heard of this person.

Whatever happened to my son Tommy Black

Clive Fleming ??

That's the Clive i 'stood with' many moons ago in the main stand at Fulham. A furious 5 minutes which culminated with all of us having a huge football match in the field behind the old big terrace. Don't know if he still goes, be fun to chat over the old scary days of the 1980's. He had a mate called Adrian, tall fella, i saw him at the Sheff Weds game.

#Edit. For fear of a red, i'm not going to say it but i do know what his nickname was!

Adrian aka Ostrich was the guy who went and sat on the centre circle at one home game

Always saw him home and away and used to occassionally end up in some god forsaken Northern pubs or Bookies with him prior to watching us get shafted at the likes of Grimsby or Bradford

If you look at the footage of that famous day at Villa Park in 1990, you can see Fleming joining in the celebrations with the players on the pitch at the final whistle.
