What an amazing game, would love to see the highlights of that. Might have them on a season review dvd somewhere.

it was the only home game I missed that season. my brother decided it was a romantic gesture to get married that day( Feb. 14th-St. Valentines Day)I was his Best Man but had secreted a mini-radio on my person. my brother thought I was B/S-ing when giving him updates. PS. they are no longer together! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

Yep, I remember that very well. Wayne's goal was a blinder, he took his palace shirt off laid it on the ground and saluted it.

Also AJ was 7/2 to score first and I stuck 200 quid on him at Ladbrokes in the Holmesdale. What was it 7 minutes for him to score?

The woman at Ladbrokes said she thought I was mad when I placed the bet. Great match and a nice pay day!

I had a huge row with the intended the night before that game. She decided to come to the game the next morning.
If you look in the programme on the messageboard, you'll see some idiot (me) proposes to the girlfriend in it. She said 'yes'.

6-3 We called it "The St. Valentines Day Massacre"
Outstanding game that left you breathless.
