Brings back great memories. I was at Liverpool University at the same time Steve was there ( can't claim to have known him though) and remember at the time reading in the local paper about a Liverpool student i.e SC, being signed by Manchester United. My immediate thought was that he'd probably get a couple of League Cup appearances and end up at Bury or back at Tranmere. Obviously I was slightly wrong on that one. Furthermore, little did I imagine he would end up being one of the best managers that "my" team have ever had.
