Are these two the hairiest ever to grace Selhurst ?

[Link]

Sad to see in these close cropped days the death of the perm and the mullett.

These two stand out...other bad hair days from our gloriest past ?????????

Sash!!!!!!!!!!

You've put me off my dinner with that horrible picture of fatty flanagan!

I used to love our central defensive partnership of Jimbo and Billy Gilbert. Jimbo had a bit of a mullet and Gilbert had a monster perm. They were fcuking awesome at scaring the opposition forwards... they scared me!

My brother in law reckons that one match at Selhurst somebody shouted something rude about Gilbert and he turned round and asked who said it, and then pointed his finger around menacingly... nobody owned up....hahaha.

Hoof this may or may not be a massive coincidence but a mate of mine once shouted to Gilbert after a misplaced header that he had a head like a 50p.

Billy ran over as he tracked back from the corner and called him a 'f***ing c***' with a stare that would have have the Terminator s***ting himself.

Probably was the same incident... I can't check with the brother in law as he has a worse drink problem than DRT and just talks bollox these days sadly.

Our past Palace experiences at home and away are bizarrely intertwined mate...weird but in a good way!

Mickey Arthurs - a fine head of hair he had too. A blast from the past from the Victory and the Wilton. Drove up to to Liverpool Cup match (1977? 1-1 draw) with him and Mickey Montgomery (Montystammers?) in my old Cortina Mk 1 GT. Kevin Morgan and someone else (Chris Ducasse?) with us.

We are the goon squad and we're going to town. Beep Beep!
