Don Rogers Tache Flag hanging around the local Taco Bell... 06 Sep 10 8.06pm

Seen this mentioned in other threads on here. I used to get taken in there mainly before mid week games. They did a good fry up, table football which I loved and a stage where De Courcey and that bear performed a few times.
For those too young, it was situated where Sainsbury's car park is, virtually opposite where said supermarket is now.
In the 70's, it never seemed out and out packed considering that we got more fans in Selhurst then than we do now.
Anyone else used to frequent this place?

I know you are but what am I?

I used to drink in the Clifton Roy.

I wasn't really aware of the supporters club tbh.

A couple of times I had a beer in Crystals... remember that?

Yeah great fun,saw a cardiff fan wear a full pint glass across his head, funny as f**k.

Even shared his chips with the boys as he was wheeled out by the first aiders.

Those were the days.

1974 i think.
