For some reason seeing the nostalgia board made me instantly think of a game between Palace and the Dons.

I was only little but can remember being sat in the front row of the Arthur Wait with my Dad and Brother.

I remember the scoreline being something like 4-3 (can't remember who too). For one goal it seemed as though Palace had stopped playing - presumably thinking the ref had blown his whistle - allowing the Dons to score. It was a surreal moment.

If anyone can remember that game (am I just making it up?) and could tell me a little more about it - who was playing etc, I'd be very happy to read about it to see if it jogs my memory.

that was my first game, remember being in the holmesdale road end, it was still a terrace back then!

a 4-3 for my first game definately got me hooked straight away
