International collaborations have helped tackle several of these fundamentals. However, the global community remains deeply divided on how to overcome the scarcity of supply. Pharmaceutical trade associations claim that supply is not a problem as manufacturers can supposedly provide 10 billion doses by the end of 2021. This is really an issue of leadership and group action. Too many people not seeing and dealing with the big picture Edited by Mapletree (05 Dec 2021 11.54am)

It’s the usual suspects claiming it should have already happened and blaming people who get up people’s noses when it’s more sense to vaccinate your own in the early days rather than a small minority in the developing world. And that says supply isn’t the problem as pharmaceutical companies claim they can supply the vaccines. The problem will be delivering and administering the shots, and also convincing many to actually have it. Just look at South Africa. 25% vax rates.

The SA government recently asked the vaccine company to stop sending them doses as they couldn't use the ones they had due to low take up amongst the population.

This may be helpful, it shows how immunologists assess natural immunity versus vaccinations.

What's very apparent is that those full for of insults for those not taking a vaccine didn't watch that video I linked to. They should do and understand that there are plenty of qualified people out there who think their certainties are misplaced. They also have stats and evidence to back up their points....watch the link. Also, I just have to say....I hear about this 'social responsibility' thing all the time. All of a sudden people are meant to feel responsibility for others to the extent that they are expected to take a newly developed vaccine for them. Hang on...this isn't how society works? This is possibly the most hypocritical point I've ever heard. Where was all this when I was living in a council house on the dole getting sh1t pushed through my door? Where was this social responsibility argument? No one gave a feck about the health of those they didn't know. This is complete b0llocks. Some of these people are control freaks who think they are talking to simpletons. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them....and I have a particularly dodgey infected shoulder.....which isn't being fixed because of their cheered on policies....so that wouldn't be that far. However before I do, didn't Israel just have a large study that showed that natural immunity was considerably....in fact very significantly more effective than vaccines. Or have you ignored that one as well?

You want me to watch 52 minutes of someone that is not an immunologist and also wears a tie like that? Think again. Someone that is an ENT specialist now in the private sector who has been disavowed by his employer, the New Victoria Hospital. He has no special knowledge and certainly doesn't trump the likes of the graphic I posted above from the proper specialists. Note he implies that post covid immunity is a 'natural vaccine' much better than the vaccinations. This is simply nonsense. Find me someone credible.

Indeed, that entire poster seems to be written towards that end. Watch my link. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Dec 2021 3.16pm)
