Well I'm going to be watching the Playoff Final and will specifically be interested in seeing the style Huddersfield play and hoping Reading win so there is at least a chance we might have a chance of getting Wagner Edited by Mwncisee (29 May 2017 2.09pm)

Stam and Wagner have done great jobs. The fact Stam identified Jordan Mutch as a good addition to his playing squad rules him out for me! Haha. Seriously though, this obsession with prem experience is a bit daft. Stam, Wagner and Jokanovic would all be decent shouts. Really unconvinced by Monk, although his early spell at Swansea was pretty decent.

Like Reading they like to keep the ball.

Think that similarity is because Wagner was manger of Dortmund II whilst Klopp was Dortmund manager. I'm not actually convinced the style would suit us. Pressing yes (always thought we played our best under Pilis when we pressed high up the pitch)but I think in the premier we just don't quite have enough talent/technical ability to play a passing/keep the ball style. Stam has the advantage over Wagner as he knows the premiership very very well.

It seems that the majority of HOLers don't want Monk which reminds me of the time when Simon Jordan posted a poll on the internet of all available potential managers and asked the fans to vote. Trevor Francis came bottom of the poll and the rest, as they say, is history
