Polls suggesting Labour are catching up again. This election looks like it will be about who can get their demographic out. May is banking on a high turnout among older voters to get her big majority, while Labour need to get youth turnout up. A survey recently showed that if only under 40s voted, Labour would win. Thing is, I actually think you'd have to say that Labour has a better chance of raising the turnout, given they have the groundteam, whereas the Tories are almost toally reliant on media as their groundteam is practically non-existent. The Tories are setting themselves up for a serious hubristic fall IMO. Will be a lot closer than people think. [Tweet Link]

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I see the labour rotters would get rid of zero hour contracts and give workers more rights and a proper wage, typical of them hey? I like the idea of getting a call at 5 in the morning to let someone know they can come in for a couple of hours from say 6 to 8 am,,,then can do another couple of hours at say 4 to 6 pm, can go home in between if they want, or wait in the car park for the 8 hours inbetween, and forget about weekends, we might have a couple of hours saturday or sunday, will give you a call at 5 am if we need you, so best not have a drink watching the footy !

Might spend the extra on a few books or something, the first thing they should teach these kids is why do we pay income tax? I always thought it was to pay for society, running of the country etc,,but maybe school dinner halls arent included!

Blimey. My son's school is having £500,000 taken away over next two years. Lovely. So rather than focus 100% on education the place will be fraught with concern. Tory cuts. Tory cvnts. It's just in their DNA to be such iniquitous b'stards.
