Hardly comparable; side steps the points made; and for giving in to bullying, I could counter with another trite platitude: if you can't beat em join em. Only we are already joined. A hegemonous Europe dominated by Germany and you say it's hardly comparable? The aims are the same; only the weapons have changed. The consequences of Brexit, as described by you, are bullying by any definition you care to use. These are no 'trite platitudes', old chap. The long term objective is a European superstate with Britain surrendering more and more of its sovereignly as that aim is assiduously pursued. A vote for Brexit is a vote to expose the whole corrupt, unaccountable, ramshackle, artificial nature of the organisation for what it is. "We have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down".

Stop playing the economy card. We all know it's about the socialist ideals and that only racists are voting out.

Yes full sovereignty will return to Parliament, but what extra power and self-governance will I feel out of Europe?

I've just come back from a week in Portugal. Ironically the only 2 people who said Brexit was a terrible idea were German bar owners who berated the UK for not controlling its borders and blaming our mess on EU. The fear mongering & plain bullying scare tactics by the remain camp has really ramped up a notch too.

But at the end of the day it is so much about the economy because everything works off it: health, education, pensions, housing etc etc. I promise you if i honestly thought we would be better off economically i would vote to leave. I would have no problem paying for health coverage abroad or customs duty on my cheap booze from france because i could afford it. It wouldnt even bother me that much if people on here called me a swivel eyed bigot. But the stark reality of a leave outcome is that we would poorer, have a lower standard of living and less life opportunities, so remain surely is the only rational choice.

YOU DID WHAT HOOF? I was sure you would vote remain! Well me and the missus have been sent two voting cards each (one to my old address) so does that make it 4-2! Or will the conspiracy theorists on here claim its election fraud orchestrated by George Osborne...hmmmm

I imagine Capita or G4S have been involved in the admin if you have two voting cards... how did the cards at your old address get to you at your new address? I would be worried that it would make both invalid, so you maybe want to flag it up if you want your vote(s) to count. I would also remind you that.... It is an offence to "vote more than once at this referendum, unless you are voting on your own behalf and as a proxy for another person" This warning is printed very clearly on your Poll Card.
