Really, because I drive a lorry and deliver to a lot of supermarket depots. Many EU citizens who live in the UK also have young families and they manage just fine. What's the problem for the equivalent British? I think it's that they expect too much too soon rather than plan long term. I've lived and worked in several other EU countries and what I've experienced is that young people don't have the same material demands as their peers in the UK. For example, there's no big demand to buy property, people generally rent until their 30's or 40s and have a nice life doing so. They don't expect to have fancy car, just something basic as a means of transport. Plenty of other similar differences in expectations which makes them much happier as they get less disappointed. There are no fools like old leave fools. Desperate clutching at straws. Perhaps they will tell us how not having anyone to pick fruit and vegetables for us, can impact on youngsters job and home prospects. The youngsters clearly do not. Serve the old codgers right if they starve. Yeah, the fruit rotted on the trees and the vegetables lay decomposing in the fields before we joined the EU. To be honest, I don't know how we as a country survived, let alone prospered, before Europe.

Would any of the leave elderly brexit experts care to tell us how the army will stockpile fresh fruit and vegetables? Do they realise that fresh fruit and veg are essential to our diet, not when frozen thank you. Although leave yearn for Dad's Army and digging for victory against the EU we are not actually going to war (sorry about that leave). Did anybody think from leave that fresh food supplies could be a threat, or was it another thing that they just never even considered at all, just their selfishness. Like the whole brexit fiasco.

One of the very best things about Brexit is how it so utterly pisses off people like you.

It was also the best thing about Trump winning.....I mean I'm not a republican but god.....when you see who were most annoyed about Trump winning....You just knew that Trump was a necessary brake on madness.

Personally I have come to terms with the Brexit vote not going the way I went for. Let’s get on with it and see how it goes. I think some on the leave side do themselves no favours though. There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ on this debate, it’s just your view. Firstly, no one on this website (on either side) had a clear idea of exactly what they were voting for, or against, bar none. If you disagree with that, I’d remind you the terms have not yet been agreed. So, Brexit may or may not be good for us, it’s far too early to say.
