Hmm. What he says is all fact save the opinion that the anti-EU lobby blame many problems that are of our own making on the EU. He has failed to give specific examples of this. You have failed to give any examples where there is a clear line between EU act and our misfortune. Sad, as I am sure there are numerous instances of both and this pointless discussion could rumble on for a few hundred pages. The largest specific problem the EU created was unfettered, illegal immigration. There was no adequate attention given to external EU borders. Countries like Greece and Italy were just left to foot the bill of EU decisions by themselves. Hardly a supportive EU. Illegal immigrants will cost billions to deal with - if they are ever dealt with at all. When you consider it - no immigrants came straight to the UK - unless they could afford a direct flight. They came through other EU countries that failed to deal with them adequately. Edited by ASCPFC (31 Jul 2018 11.40am)

Cheap EU labour migration contributes to the damage of young British workers’ job and home owning opportunities, training and pay. That is a fact and I’m not happy about witnessing it.

That's entirely correct it was Mrs May as Home Secretary who decided not to use that option. The EU is more democratic in practice than us as it reacts to pressure from its members. Consequently we are seeing these changes to freedom of movement, and especially immigration where countries are determining their own quotas and have been reducing already. How ironic that the UK will probably be the only country left with ever increased immigration.

For those who would vote Brexit “for their kids”, please remember 73% of 18-24 year olds voted remain.

There are no fools like old leave fools. Desperate clutching at straws. Perhaps they will tell us how not having anyone to pick fruit and vegetables for us, can impact on youngsters job and home prospects. The youngsters clearly do not. Serve the old codgers right if they starve.
