Yep. I’m not wasting my time when you clearly aren’t going to take any of it on board. You’ve displayed numerous times that you are for Brexit no matter what. And now you’re trying to defend the indefensible by saying that people are going to blame Brexit for the mess that is only caused by Brexit when the s*** hits the fan. Corpses piling up in the Tory europe graveyard. They will need an extension, how about a grant from the EU?

Edited by Brentmiester_General (09 Jul 2018 7.28pm) Brexiteers aren't capable of rational debate, and can't tolerate detail. All you would get as a result of diligent response, is to be called a 'knob' or 'traitor'.

Erm, the discussion on whether joining the EU was a good thing was debated in a 'rational' manner for months before and after the referendum in lots of detail. Not sure of the point in going over old ground. For reasons I have stated before, leaving is FAR better than staying. There is no reason why competent politicians could not act out the wishes of the people. We are where we are now, not because Brexit is a bad idea – it's still FAR better than remaining – but because the Maybot has deliberately thwarted it. Never trust government!

How many times through history do we see that innocent people dissenting are called traitors. Later we find that they were totally vindicated.

Ditto. Oh well. My personal prediction is that the EU will become more euro-skeptic and more towards a looser confederation. At some point we may wish to re-join an organisation that looked more like the one we joined. Errrr....sorry....I've just woke up from a whimsical dreamlike state......After some smelling salts...I should think that during the next crash, it'll break up...perhaps one by one.
