Thank the Lord for Sainsbury's eh!

Any other suggested renaming of goods would be greatly appreciated by myself

Supermarkets getting loads of free advertising.
"We don't sell Russian stuff"
"We've renamed our products to their Ukrainian spelling"

'all our profits go to help Ukraine',....ahh come on now. Let's not get stupid.

I disengage, I turn the page.

[cut due to size of post]

pretty good post.

in today's world all information needs to be analysed through a personal truth filter. However on balance we have a better understanding than the average Russian.

As you say we have been there before from the US POV with Cuba and. we know how that went.

My worry was Putin used to be "ultra-rationale" logical to the extreme, but the last 12 months he has changed or he has underestimated some basic assumptions, perhaps due to the lack of true data due to his own isolation.

I believe this is true.

They'll have to settle for watching, instead of Wolverhampton, the likes of Wycombe and Bolton Taiwanderers

Of the 2700 Manpad personal anti air systems Germany sent to Ukraine, 700 of them need to be binned - stored in terrible conditions and their rotten through.

Pretty much every central/eastern European country has neo Nazis, I don't really get the pant pissing over Nazis.

No one in Russia actually watches RT the only people being censored is us.

The outcome of this war will be the west beefing up its operations against Russia, although the border may be pushed back it will force NATO to be expansionary.

So Putin will not achieve his goal even if he wins.

He could have settled with his gains in eastern ukraine which could be justified due to the ignored mini-war against the russian-speaking population.

Now it is him committing the atrocities he accused the ukrainians of, 90% of whom are just ordinary civilians going about their lives.

How he got the idea in his mind of de-nazifying them, now he just lies to himself about everything.

I'm afraid each morning we will discover how hollow and shallow we are in the west, we will not be physically helping Ukraine.

Multiple long standard Russian TV stations have been shut down for genuinely covering the war. It's not discussed as a 'war' in Russia, and legislation has just been brought in with the intention of incarcerating those who do not parrot the Putin line. In addition, those protesting, from children to Yelena Osipova, who survived the Nazi Germany siege during WWII, have been arrested. At last count we were at about 8000 arrests of those simply peacefully protesting the war.

So yeah, there's that.

Based on what you say, it's disappointing that so much crap military equipment has been given to the Ukrainians.

the ex-soviet stuff, Streila [sp?] AAW? worse than Seacat though not quite the same.

Neo nazi stuff all countries do, we obviously do.

Banning RT just means BBC gets banned. TBH, IT is good to know the red propaganda.

I didnt comment on the crackdown of information the Russians are doing, we can all see whats happening, I've also seen appalling videos of Russians bombing the living piss out of civilian areas. what I am saying is blocking RT here only censors us.
