Well I'm watching the game again now and not on a particularly high volume and we sound superb, constant noise for 90 mins and everyone in sync. No one can say with a straight face that the HF aren't a massive boost to a) our atmosphere and b) the positivity in Selhurst. I respect that it's hard on the 400 Block E fans but I think we really would go to another level there with the roof amplifying the HF's noise and it spreading accordingly, maybe even to Blocks F onwards. Surely that has to be a positive for us when weighed up Sorry but I cannot take seriously anyone who downplays the HF, especially when comparing the games without them to Saturday. When in SP in my seat in Block B found myself beaming when watching the Arthur all singing and bouncing along again and the lads giving their all for the team in front of me. Felt like Palace at our best again

The same can be said of Selhurst Park of course. Leicester generally do have good home support but can't be taken seriously with the clappers they're given every week. I'm expecting to see those again at Brighton tomorrow. It seems that the likes of you and BRM would rather sit in a silent stadium. Do you actually believe the HF make no difference? Is your anger aimed more at the HF or the club for way it's been handled?

It’s the same coverage regardless which country is showing it. The Premier League film it and sell on to TV companies around the world. Yep, outside of the UK broadcasters they get what they're given by the Premier League.

The singing without the HF was sporadic and died out fairly quickly. What you get from the HF is constant singing from the first to last minute regardless of what is happening on the pitch. Constant singing needs to be orchestrated and they do that very well. The HF do not create a great atomosphere by themselves (alone they are not loud enough) but they are a vital catalyst. It is much easier for the rest of us to join in and turn up the volume to create a great atmosphere.

The move is happening, there is no turning back From where I sat the HF worked very hard but weren't as good as they used to be, I think there were fewer of them. But importantly, they aren't in the best position to hit us with a wall of sound. Not great to accuse someone of mental health problems. Just leave him be and enjoy what in the end should be a better atmosphere. And also be respectful for the 398 people that seem like they have to move. It's an awful lot and they are long standing loyal fans. I am aware that many aren't too steady on their pins as well, so I really hope a good solution can be found for each and every one. I shall miss the friendship built up over 23 years.
