I hope we at least modernise the Arthur. It really is a dismal stand. Very little in this for Arthur I fear

Will apparently cost £75-100 million. Is that for a seat in the New Holmesdale?

Have a gut feelin' it will be in the same mould as Liverpool did with their expanding of Anfield...... Vow! Brave to come out now when plans to Croydon Counsil to be submitted in January. But SP & Co probaly know they will go thru. Looks great and 34 000 capacity seems about right. Now just let us climb the table.....

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave This post has been merged from a topic called 'Centenary Wall' by Penge Eagle How will the centenary wall be corporated into the new look Stadium? Simon Jordan promised fans who bought a brick that was customised with their name and a message that whenever the club finally got a new stadium that our brick would be kept within the design. A lot of Palace fans paid a lot of money for these centenary bricks..

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Stadium plans' by bexleydave That would only be possible if the club either purchased the house opposite the AW or would get a CPO through which seems unlikely. However a new roof so the supporting pillars can go should be a main consideration. Originally posted by Hrolf The Ganger
Sadly, I think they are actually reducing the seating by a row or two for the pitch increase. I would like to see an extra tier on top but I suppose we will already have 35k. One thing they could do would be to put a new cantilever roof on the Arthur in the style of the new stand and put a small curved extra area of seating on top of the existing seating to match it up. Then the ground would have a degree of continuity and get rid of those old stanchions. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (04 Dec 2017 4.42pm)
