As I said it isn’t perfect. There was a queue of helicopters waiting to land patients this afternoon. A & E struggles during the summer because of increased numbers of visitors but the MIUs work well so unless it’s a real emergency best to use one. Not everyone does though.

No health service like the NHS could simply cope with a crisis like Covid. To expect that is unrealistic. You cannot provide limitless resources for boundless demands or most of the time half the staff would have nothing to do. When a crisis like that happens you need to intervene to try to spread the load, free up resources by postponing non urgent demands and try to reduce demand with preventative measures. Which we did.

If you can't wake up and see the establishment collusion and election interference against Reform, then I'm afraid you are part of the problem.

People hear and see what they want to hear and see - it's called something like confirmation bias. I guess it applies to a lot of people.
